Alan Lace-Evans

With more than 30 years’ experience as a structural engineer, Alan delivers specialist expertise to a broad array of projects for clients ranging from Debenhams, British Land Retail Parks and Dixons Stores Group, to the University of London and Charterhouse School. He has built up particular expertise in the retail and leisure sectors, as well as providing invaluable advice on Listed building alterations and Party Wall awards in central London.

Prior to joining Thomasons, Alan worked on seismic and hurricane designs for leisure resorts and apartments in Anguilla, after which, he carried out design work for the commercial, industrial and healthcare sectors for WS Atkins and Travers Morgan. At WS Atkins his work involved designing and supervising works to sections of the London Docklands Light Railway. During his 6 years at Travers Morgan, Alan was based in Oman and led a number of prestigious university, commercial and housing projects throughout Muscat.

Alan lives with his family in Bramley and spends his spare time assisting several local groups and organisations with theatrical and construction projects.
