Heather Mannings
Heather is an Associate with fifteen years of experience working on structural engineering projects, initially with Arup in Sheffield, London and New York during which time she became a Chartered Engineer with both ICE and IStructE. Heather joined Thomasons in 2001 and took a two year sabbatical living and working in Sydney, Australia for a civil/structural engineering practice, working on a variety of projects with signature architects and the restoration and retention of historic buildings.
On returning to Thomasons in 2007, Heather has continued to be involved in structural design and investigation projects dealing with existing and historic buildings, with an increased role in expert witness projects. Outside of work, Heather is a keen cylist and fell walker often venturing into the Peak District, Wales and the Lake District.
