Janet Calder
Janet joined Thomasons in May 1995 having worked for the previous 12 years for Richard Ellis, a large multi-disciplinary private practice of commercial property surveyors based in central London. Her broad experience at Richard Ellis included many survey reports on commercial premises for the purposes of investment purchase, the specification and contract administration of major building repairs and office refurbishment schemes, and development monitoring of several prestigious developments for both institutional funds and tenants.
She has been involved in several large office relocation projects. Since joining Thomasons Janet has managed projects for Dixons, Highland Developments and Allders, and has advised Direct Line, 3M, Apollo Leisure, Marks & Spencers, and Scottish Widows amongst others. She has built herself a deservedly high reputation for her party wall work including appointments by Debenhams, Pilton Land, GAP, Crest Nicholson and many more. Janet became an Associate of Thomasons in 2000.
