Nick Russell
Nick has worked on major building and civil works in the commercial, retail and industrial sectors, both in the UK and overseas. Following early experience in Government establishments, Balfour Beatty and Travers Morgan, Nick joined Thomasons in late 1985.
At Thomasons, Nick has continued to work on a wide variety of projects, and, as a registered expert witness, has advised on a number of unusual and complex litigation matters. Nick was responsible in 1990 for Thomasons becoming one of the first quality assured consulting practices and has subsequently steered the whole practice through accreditation to ISO 9001:2008.
Nick has been involved in the Institution of Structural Engineers for over 25 years and is currently a Vice President. He is also a member of the University of Surrey Engineering Advisory Board.
Nick is a keen sailor and squash player since being introduced to these activities during his days at university.
