Award success for Thomasons project
A project for which Thomasons provided structural engineering expertise has recently won a prestigious award.
At the British Construction Industry (BCI) Awards, the ACT ll phase of the restoration of the Royal Court Theatre in Liverpool scooped Building of the Year (up to £10m).
The Royal Court Theatre dates back to the nineteenth century and Thomasons worked as part of a team including architects Allford Hall Monaghan Morris to renovate the three-tier auditorium and improve the front-of-house space. The same team is currently carrying out further refurbishments in ACT III of the project.
