Senior promotions at Thomasons in Manchester and Leeds

We are pleased to announce a series of senior promotions in our Manchester and Leeds offices.

In Manchester, Associates Jane Entwistle and David Cooper are both promoted to Technical Director and in Leeds, Kalpesh Chavda moves up from senior structural engineer to Associate.

The promotions are part of our ongoing strategy to strengthen Thomasons’ presence across the UK and to develop the brand as a centre of engineering excellence.

Jane Entwistle specialises in alterations and remedial work to treasured historic buildings; her high-profile projects include the restoration of Manchester’s 16th century Wythenshawe Hall, following fire damage. She is also currently Vice President of the Institution of Structural Engineers.

David Cooper leads the design of new build schemes and specialises in reinstatement works for damaged buildings. His current projects include the structural design of a social housing development for Salix Homes in Salford.

Kalpesh Chavda, who joined Thomasons earlier this year, focuses on building damage assessments and the retail sector, working with blue-chip clients; he is currently involved in refurbishment works at Salts Mill near Bradford, a UNESCO world heritage site.
