Primary Care Delivery Centre, Southampton

The West Southampton PCDC is a £10M healthcare centre comprising hospital rooms, offices and a canteen. It is a triangular shaped three storey structural steelwork building with a full height central atrium.

The steelwork framed building comprises structural steelwork columns and beams. These support purlins at roof level and a metal deck insitu slab at first and second floor levels. The precast ground floor slabs are supported on ground beams which are supported by piled foundations. Construction work started in 2008 and completed in 2009.
