Midland Heart, Birmingham

A high quality five storey office development built as one of the first stages of a 10 Year development site set in 8 acres.

The building was designed in close collaboration with the end user as the new headquarters building for the Prime Focus Housing Association.

The building structure consists of steel frame with composite concrete floors providing 5,000m2 of office floor space as the first phase of a 10,000m2 development. Feature full height triangular glazed stair towers signal the principal northern gateway to the whole Park Central Development.

Thomasons was responsible for the structural design together with the drainage and external works design. Full height structural glazing was designed by Thomasons for the triangular stair towers.
