Thomasons was appointed as structural engineers by Peel Group to help bring more than 10 offices, retail and restaurant units to life at MediaCityUK, a vibrant new sustainable community set on the bank of Manchester’s historic ship canal at Salford Quays.
MediaCityUK’s principal tenant will be the BBC, whose move marks a large-scale from London. BBC Children’s, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Research and BBC Sport are among the departments scheduled to relocate to the development.
