Welcome to new Associate Helen McKeown
Helen is a Chartered Building Surveyor with 18 years PQE experience undertaking the full spectrum of professional building surveying and project services on a wide range of commercial property types including healthcare, leisure, industrial, office, retail, listed and heritage property across the UK, with a proven track record of delivering first-in-class project and development services to core institutional clients and corporate occupiers such as Scottish Widows, LaSalle Investment Management, Marsh, Aviva, ExxonMobil, Serco Group, Doosan, Jurys Inns and Manchester Mental Health Care Trust. More recently Helen is involved in the delivery of post-Grenfell cladding remediation schemes under the BSF for clients across England.
Following many years in both single discipline and multi-disciplinary firms, Helen brings this experience to her role leading the Building Surveying team at Thomasons, responsible for business development, CRM, quality control, training and resourcing.
Helen specialises in technical due diligence and defect pathology concerning commercial and heritage property including dealing with expert witness matters and complex major loss remediation projects. Helen is currently project managing the highly sensitive roof replacement scheme at Tate Liverpool, a converted Grade I listed warehouse on the Albert Docks.
